The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of teaching competency in the beauty care department on job satisfaction and turnover intention. Gangwon, Among the professors of beauty care working in Chungcheong, Gyeongsang, Jeolla, and Seoul, 108 ones were selected including the ones in the tenure track and non-tenure track (school-work focus, exclusive charge in lecturing), part-time instructors, adjunct professors, and visiting professors to collect data, and SPSS 22 was employed to carry out frequency analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, and one-way ANOVA. Based on the results above, we can conclude that research and expertise development as well as optimum working time, workload, and student care should be considered sufficiently in order to enhance the level of quality.
