Research Paper : A Study on Lipovac Massage for Obesity Improvement Effect by Observation of Ultrasonography and DITI

Abstract
Aesthetic apparatuses are used for obesity care, but objective data by observation of ultrasonography and DITI are not enough. Thus, this study investigated the improvement effect of obesity by treatment with Lipovac masage for the establishment of usable objective data in-field practice. Five female college students in their 20`s as a experiment subjects were treated with Lipovac massage on abdomen, hips region for 15 times. The body weight, WHR, body size, serum biochemistry, fat depth and body surface temperature were measured and observed by ultrasonography and DITI. In the result, body weight was decreased by 3.7%, and BMI was significantly reduced by 3.2% (p<0.05) after 15 times treatment. As a body size, waist circumference was significantly decreased by 3.7% (p<0.01) and hip circumference was reduced by 2.6% after the Lipovac massage. Level of TC and TG was significantly decreased by 9.8% and 5.8% (p<0.05). The fat depth showed decrease in abdomen subcutaneous by 20.3% and in visceral fat by 25.4%. Infrared measurement on body surface temperature as a parameter of improvement in blood circulation represented red or green on the testers` face, feet, abdomen, at the end of the 15 treatment which was blue or black before the treatment. In conclusion, measurement of ultrasonography and DITI is useful for prove of aesthetic appartuses effect and Lipovac massage is, with detailed and objective data, proved to be a non-invasive method that can be used in filed practice to prevent and treat obesity.
