Research Paper : An Influence of Physical Attraction, Self-Esteem, and Personal Relationship of Hair Dressers on Job Satisfaction

Abstract
This study empirically analyzed to find the influence of physical attraction, self-esteem, and personal relationship of hair dressers on their job satisfaction. The target of this study is 200 hair dressers in Seoul and Jeolla-do areas. To obtain data, this study conducted a survey for 20 days from August 10, 2010 to August 30, 2010 and used total of 173 responses excluding incomplete responses. SPSS v. 12.0 is used to analyze to conduct frequency analysis, factor analysis and reliability verification, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results show that the personal relationship has a high average, and the physical attraction, self-esteem, and job satisfaction have a normal average. Further, the physical attraction, self-esteem, personal relationship, and job satisfaction have a significant correlation, and the higher physical attraction significantly affects the self-esteem and job satisfaction. Moreover, a positive self-esteem and an amicable personal relationship significantly influence the job satisfaction.
