Research Paper : How Aroma Oil Affects Animal Model with Atopic Dermatitis by DNCB on Anti-inflammatory

Abstract
Atopic dermatitis is the multifactorial disease from both environmental and genetic factors. Because the side effects of the currently used medicines are diverse, new medicines with safe and good effect is required to develop. Therefore, this research intends to more effectively and safely relieve the problem, using the natural material, the aroma oil from plants. NC/Nga mice, which are caused to have atopic dermatitis by DNCB, are treated with essential oils; Grapefruit, Juniper berry, Fennel, and carrier oil; Jojoba oil. Toxicity is not found in the experiment on measuring cytotoxicity and hepatotoxicity to now whether aroma oil is safe or not. Erythma, itching, dry skin, edema, hematoma, festering, and lichen are ascertained to decrease in the sensory test to know the effects on anti-inflammatory against atopic dermatitis of aroma oil. Leukocyte infiltration, edema inhibitation, and the number of the mast cells are ascertaioned to decrease in the skin tissue test. Cytokine is ascertained to decrease in the blood test.
