| Abstract |
|
This study intended to explore as to whether silk moth pupa extracts is effective for relieving hair damage. main ingredients of silk moth pupa extracts was revealed to be fatty acid and 70% of this extracts is unsaturated fatty acid and it was learned to be effective for conditioning and moisturizing effect. In this study, through application of silk moth pupa extracts at the time of dyeing treatment of damaged hair, its application time was observed by performing pre-treatment (C-2), post-treatment (C-3), adding in insolvent (C-4), adding in solvent after pre-treatment (C-5) and post-treatment followed by treatment of adding in solvent after pre-treatment (C-6). As a result, in terms of color resolution, experiment group of C-2 and C-4 represented L* value similar to that of C-1 that treated dyeing only. In case of tensile strength, C-2 and C-6 represented to be increased and C-4 represented to be decreased and as a result of measuring tensile strain, C-2 represented to be decreased and C-6 increased. As a result of observing cuticle, it was revealed that lipid of silk moth pupa extracts could provide coating effect by forming film in cuticle layer and in case of amino acid composition value of hair after treatment, contents of cystine and methionine of C-2 specimen that was pre-treated was increased. As was observed, silk moth pupa extracts is considered to be effective for moisturizing and conditioning function due to its fatty acid action at the time of hair dyeing treatment of damaged hair. |
