| Abstract |
|
These days, as cosmetology has turned its focus to esthetics instead of the use of different techniques, this study speculated oncorrelations between pictorial elements in art nouveau and the ornamentality of hair. As a theoretical background, this study explainedthe concept and definition of Balmy, and the pictorial patterns of art nouveau expressed in Klimt`s paintings. Then, this study analysedthe formal structure of ornamentation and divided its correlations with the ornamentality of hair into ornamentation by braiding, ornamentation through the use of structures, and ornamentation by S and C curls to present the ornamentation of Balmy as a visual art. As a result, it was discovered that as ornaments in visual art can not be separated from structure, there are two components in theornamentality of hair: a dual structure of a structure and an ornament, and a background and a pattern. Therefore, Balmy can secure areasfor new creation as well as pursue three-dimensional visual art. |
