The research to examine the relationship between career preparing behavior and stress factors in college students majoring in skin care: morderation effect of stress-handling methods. This study has performed a questionnaire survey amongst 391 college students majoring in skin care in Seoul, Gyeonggi from October 18 to December 3, 2013. To set out the research result first, way of coping with stress between career preparing behavior by problem-centric handling method and emotion-centric handling method of subscales of the way of coping with stress significantly. Second, the relationship between career preparing behavior and stress reveals that future career and getting a job, economy and value stress predict significantly career preparing behavior. Third, the effect of way of coping with stress between career preparing behavior and stress reveals that way of coping with stress have mediation effect on relationship between the problem-centric handling method and the emotion-centric handling method. The career preparing behavior will be raised by guidance for the students have coping behavior problem. Discussion focused on intervention strategies in career counseling for college students considering the revels of career-related stress and main coping strategies that college students employ. It will be provide application for parents, teachers and counselers for career counseling and guidance in college students majoring in skin care. |
