Research Paper : The Effects of Considerations When Selecting Beauty Academies on Beauty Academy Satisfaction -Focused on Beauty Academies in Gwangju Area-

Abstract
The growing number of private educational institutes and educational service providers is deepening competition between them recording sales below the average, which beauty academies are struggling with the high shutdown and closure rates. But the concept of educational service is increasing along with economic advancing. Learners are also asking for educational service, expecting it day by day. Beauty academies have reached 75.3% in the closure rate and ranked No.1 in the increase rate, which it is urgent for them to solve their troubles. The results of actual analysis were as follows. Instructor`s looks and counseling method, satisfaction of beauty academy as considerations when selecting beauty academies showed that learners valued employer``s mind, popularity and tuition according to age, major field and learning period, respectively. Employer`s mind, educational level, interior and facilities were important factors to raise satisfaction of beauty academy. Consequently, beauty academies will have to provide services of a high quality in light of social, economical, psychological and geographical characteristics through the accurate understanding of their members` requirements. And they will have to plan new measures, not the existing methods such as member management, customized education, marketing for the era, and differentiated program.
