Abstract |
The objective of this study is to utilize 3D image suggesting a facial soft tissue asymmetry distinguishing device. Subjects of this study are 26 women in their 20s utilizing the HDI advance R3X (optical precise three dimensional scanner, LMI3D, Cabada) to record stereoscopic image. As for data analysis, SPSS 20.0 for windows was used. Facial asymmetry distinguishing device is comprised of suggestion for category for facial asymmetry and classification of facial asymmetry types. Types of facial asymmetry were classified into eight kinds (RRR, RRL, RLR, RLL, LRR, LRL, LLR, and LLL), and categories of facial asymmetry were suggested as symmetric (normal), mild asymmetric, and severe asymmetric. It is anticipated for follow-up studies to verify with development of facial asymmetry and repetitive research for various age groups. |
