Research Paper : The Influence of the Sexual Objectification and Self Objectifcation Experiences Skin Care Behavior by Mediating Through Flow and Body Satisfaction

Abstract
The Purpose of this study was to examine the impact of objectification experiences of female college students in their 20s on skin care behavior by mediating commitment and body satisfaction. The data research was conducted from August 19, 2013 until September 20, 2013; as for data analysis method, descriptive statistical analysis and correlation analysis were carried out using SPSS WIN 20.0 and AMOS 19.0 to verify variance sampling index, concept reliability, and mediating effect. The study result demonstrated that sexual objectification experiences statically had a direct impact on the attitude toward appearance and on body surveillance. Also, the attitude toward appearance partially had a direct impact on commitment and body satisfaction, and the attitude toward appearance statically had a direct impact on skin care behavior. Next, coenesthesia was not shown to have a direct impact on skin care behavior, and positive emotions had a direct impact on skin care behavior statically. Therefore, sexual objectification experiences were proved to have an impact on skin care behavior by mediating immersion and physical satisfaction.
