A talent development program through face painting was researched with the purpose of making youngsters give out the artistic talent, improve the creativity and discover the dream. Teaching syllabus for talent development program through face painting were developed 6 subjects, and each subject was composed from the 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Each week composed 2hours. All syllabuses were composed of ten weeks. The face painting, the make-up art on face, was taken as the medium of education. The program focused on unifying activity of arts, connecting it to subjects such as English, Science, Korean, Music and Physical education. Compositions were made using the English words bingo game activity sheet in connection to English lesson, the brainstorming activity sheet in connection to Science lesson, the mind map activity sheet in connection to Sociology lesson, the storytelling and role play activity sheet in connection to Korean lesson, the action painting activity sheet in connection to Physical education lesson. Also developed in teachers` manual guide, composing it easy to refer by presenting pictures of working scenes in the order of working. |
