A Strategy for the Community Beauty Service through Beauty NGO

Abstract
Local community is a settled living place when people interact socially, have common culture, and share sense of unity concerning the community. Therefore, it is mainly composed of certain region, resident, and community spirit. Especially, among those constituents, residents act as primary protagonists of local community since traits of self-governing body and quality of life can be decided according to their community spirit. Republic of Korea (South Korea) initiated the era of provincial self-government when there was an election of local council members in 1991, and this year has been a twenty-six years. Nevertheless, isolated and socially disadvantaged class people from every local community are increasing because the gap between rich and poor is getting wider and deeper. Socially disadvantaged class people are definitely diverse. For instance, low-income aged people, single-parent family, North Korean defector, multicultural family, homeless people, and disabled people are all our neighborhoods; therefore, this society has to look after all those people with great responsibility. The number of non-governmental organization(NGO) is increasing quite rapidly to from approximately 2,000 in 1997 to 12,894 on September 2015. This growth came both from the introduction of local autonomy and from rising civil consciousness about participation. There are many kinds of NGOs: social welfare, environment, youth, juvenile, culture, physical, volunteer work, woman, education, and etc. Those all NGOs have their own pursued goals; among them, NGO about beauty can play a significant role to develop local community following these two reasons.
