A Meta-analysis of the Skin Improvement Effects of the Wellness Skin Care Program Use

Abstract
This study conducted a meta-analysis to derive systematic and objective results from prior studies related to the effect of the wellness skin care program for 16 years from January 2000 to June 2016. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, the overall effect size of the program-related variables showed a large effect size. Second, the subscales of program related subscales showed that all subscales had a large effect size, and the water effect showed the largest effect size. Third, the effect size of the mixing method was larger than that of the single method effect size. Fourth, the total effect size of skin improvement according to application therapy showed that device use massage had the largest effect size. Fifth, the amount of water improvement effect showed that the device use massage had the largest effect size. Sixth, the resilience effect size showed that the invasion had the largest effect size. Seventh, the size of pore improvement effect showed the greatest effect size of invasion and application. Eighth, the magnitude of the pH improvement effect showed that the electric stimulation showed the greatest effect size. Finally, the size of the skin tone improvement effect was the largest effect size of invasion and application. This study is a meta-analysis about the skin improvement effect of the wellness skin care program and it is meaningful to promote the academic value of future skin beauty industry prosperity.
