A Study on the Behavior of Hygiene Management and Preference of Cosmetic Procedure Needle according to Semi-permanent Makeup

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the behavior of hygiene management and preference of cosmetic procedure needle according to semi-permanent makeup. The survey on the this study was conducted to 345 semi-permanent practitioners. The results of the study are as follows. The general characteristics of the subjects showed women were 323(93.6%) and men were 22(6.4%) by sex, 55(15.9%) in their twenties and 128(37.7%) in their forties, and 32(9.3%) in their 50s or over in terms of age. As a result of disinfection and hygiene, 4.68 points were high in a question that all practitioners use a new needle or sterilized one, and a high perception was shown with 4.67 points for a new glove they use every procedure. The survey on the most used tools and highly satisfactory tools of results for procedure experience in a semi-permanent makeup procedure showed that were the needle used in the embossing technique. Also, reason of chose the most popular tool was easy procedure.
