Abstract |
This study aimed to investigate the effects of makeup services on psychological wellbeing, and the results found the followings: Product, artist, environment, price and revisit had a positive influence on interpersonal relationship, environmental control and self-acceptance with statistical significance. In addition, artist, environment, price and revisit revealed a positive effect on autonomy with statistical significance (p<.05). Furthermore, product and environment had a positive effect on purpose in life with statistical significance (p<.01). The fact that makeup services had a positive influence on interpersonal relationship, environmental control and self-acceptance means that makeup is not just an act to make a face more attractive, but involvement in correct identity formation. It also proves that makeup services have an influence on emotions. |
