| A Study on the Perception and Attitude of Skin Beauty Occupation in the Functional Competition |

| Abstract |
|
The purpose of this study is to investigated the perception and attitude toward skin beauty functional competitions(Olympic Games) for cosmetologists and cosmetics workers in Daejeon, Chungnam, and Chungbuk provinces. Statistical analysis was conducted with statistical softwares, including SPSS 22.0, independent t-test and one-way ANOVA. A post-test average score was calculated on a fivepoint Likert scale, using a Duncan test. The results are as follows. According to gender of the study subjects, it was higher in women and they generally learned through instruction from teachers (professors). Those who did not participate in the Olympic Games did not have degree of high interest. Also, as a result of the survey on the perception of the occupation of the functional beauty Olympic Games, those in their 30s had a higher score than those in their 20s, and there was a significant difference in perception between those in 10s-30s as compared to their 40s-50s. In relation to the function of the Olympic Games and the fieldwork, the highest score was by those in the 40s, and that helped the development of the beauty industry. In addition, the technical aspect of the functional beauty Olympic Games was found to be highly related to beauty field practices. Therefore, it can be concluded from the results that the interest and systematic skill acquisition in the beauty field of the functional Olympic Games will be very helpful for the fieldwork and will be an opportunity to enhance personal value. |
