Nam-san Kim, Jeong-hee Kim
Abstract
As interest in acne skin increases, studies on acne skin care are actively underway. To examine the comprehensive effects, the research team conducted a meta-analysis on search terms such as 'yellow skin', 'filling', and 'Active ingredients for the improvement of acne' on domestic and foreign academic dissertations. The results showed the overall effect size was -0.166 (Z=2.232, p<0.05), with significant effect size, and on the application it was a medical material (-0.686) and peeling (-0.413). The effect size for the lower modulus was large as an exfoliating factor (-1.06), and the effect size for the treatment method was small effect size for both extrusion and nonpneumatic and was not statistically significant. Therefore, based on the result skin care has a positive effect on acne skin improvement, it is believed that more diverse material development on application methods is required and that the scope of the study should be expanded and analyzed to conduct objective and diverse studies.
