Abstract |
This study suggested the possibility of hair to be an object of aesthetic change and plane art. Hair was introduced as a material of artistic work and applied for creative art because it had a possibility to represent diverse colors through dye. It can be created as a fine art work as it can have symbolic meanings and deep implications. Thus, it can be art through diverse changes and communicates with common people as plane art in that art generalizes technology and studies. Beauty art is usually considered as a practical study. However, to further examine it, as it can be artistically created for appreciation and symbolically expressed according to characteristics and sensibility of artists, it should be accepted as a new expressing area of art. Fur the purpose, this study was engaged in theoretical and experimental research. As for the theoretical research, plane art of Klimt's paintings was examined. To show possibility of hair as plane art based on symbolism, ornamentality, aesthetic change, symbols of colors, humanistic interpretation, this study reproduced concrete and abstract plane art works using characteristic patterns of Klimt's paintings. As for the experimental research, this study experimentally examined 5 reproductions of Klimt's paintings and 10 creative works by the author. |
