Abstract

In this research, we can find increase in medicinal plant extracts usage as one of ingredient for cosmetic material as parallel to rise in interested in medicinal plant extracts. In this case, interaction between these medicinal plants effects should not interfere with each other`s effects. For this reason, when testing the plant extracts that were combine by using Free Radical Scavenging Activity Test and UV-Vis Spectrum method, it showed stable effects. In fact, in these two tests, after the mixing of different plant extracts, the effects rate showed as combination of each separate plant extracts effect rate. This means, even though the study used limited amount of plants extracts to come to the conclusion, medicinal plant extracts can be mixed with each other without compensating one of the others` benefits.
