When pigments are extracted from traditional oriental medicine dyes, color tones extracted with alkali electrolyte as a solvent are superior in coloring effects to those with distilled water as a solvent. 2. Experimental results of dyeing firmness shows daylight firmness between traditional oriental medicine dyes and synthetic dyes is similar and good as 3rd class or 3rd-4th class. Friction firmness and sweat firmness are good in both traditional oriental medicine dyes and synthetic dyes as 4th-5th class. 3. Comparatively measuring colors from color makeup cosmetics manufactured from traditional oriental medicine dyes and from synthetic dyes respectively, those made from traditional oriental medicine dyes show little difference in brightness and color tone from those made from synthetic dyes. 4. When daylight and sweat stability of color makeup cosmetics made from traditional oriental medicine dyes show little difference from the existing hues. In sweat stability, both alkali and acid sweat show little difference from the existing hues 5. When an antibiosis comparison between traditional oriental medicine dyes and synthetic dyes is made, germ decrease in sappanwood is 85.6%-87%, that in cork tree is 92-96.7% and that in indigo plant is 89-93.3%. Traditional oriental medicine dyes are superior in antibiosis to synthetic dyes which are known as having no antibiosis effect and under 1% germ decrease. |
