Research Paper : Physical Characteristics of Hair Damage by Second Permanent Wave Solution

Abstract
In proportion to the desire of strong personality expression, chemical treatments on hair as well as repeat and crossing treatments were increased. Various permanent wave lotions were investigated and sales on the market. The wave efficacy and hair demage following chemical treatments, using 4 differents permanent wave lotions. The efficacy and demage of hair by the permanent wave treatment were determined, The thioglycolic acid has severer demage than the other 2nd permanent wave solution. Although the permanent wave has better wave efficiency and maintenance than the others. Cystein, cysteamine, and cystein sodium salt had a similar aspect and the degree of hair demage.
