Abstract
Chemical dyeing, which is able to diverse color and convenient in operating, have to solve the two problems. First, it is asked to make an enough color. Second it is asked to release the environmental burden by chemical by-product from hair dyeing. This study was an attempt to find out the effect of mixed microorganisms liquid about stimulus malodor`s reducing on hair dyeing operation. Additionally, its effects were concluded by gas testing such as instrumental detection method, direct observation the dyed hair surface. On the new condition of 1:1(first dye: second dye) mixed dyes and adding the EM liquid 20~30% to it, the EM liquid mixed dyes showed that 30~40% decreasing rate of ammonia gas production, and its color level was almost equal to the mixed dyes excepted EM. For example, when the conditions of EM liquid ratio in mixed dyes were changed zero to 0.5, 1.0, produced ammonia gas concentrations were measured as 0.45%, 0.30% and 0.27%. So, in order to accomplish the two goals that minimize the malodor production and sustain the its own color, the optimal mixing condition of new dyes (first dye: second dye: EM liquid) was thought to be 1: 1: 1.and after hair dyeing with the EM liquid mixed dyes, the hair surface was discovered as less elation for cuticle layer and closed stably, compare to shampoo with ordinary hair-dye excepted EM liquid.
Key Words: EM, Effect of Mixed microorganism, Ammonia gas, Hair surface
