Research Paper : The Effects of Muesli Meal Replacements on Weight Control and Serum Components in Obese Middle Aged Women

Abstract
This study was designed to investigate the effects of weight control and changes in serum components using a commercial muesli meal replacements diet on 23 obese middle aged women (body mass index, BMI>25) over a period of 4 weeks. Muesli meal replacements contain that are consisted of mainly whole grain, seeds, and nuts ingredients. The subjects had muesli meal replacement (38 g) with milk or soymilk once a day instead of breakfast. The mean weight was significantly decreased from 63.0
