Research Paper : A Study on the Behavioral of Scalp, and Care of Losing Hair of Middle Aged Men`s Hair-Losers

Abstract
This paper presents a research survey on the behavioral of scalp, and care of losing hair of middle aged men`s hair-losers in parts of Jeounju province. As for the shampoo period, shampoo everyday was the most replied by 71.6%, showing a statistically valid difference by age, education and average sleeping hours per day (p<.01). As for the hair cleanser, functional shampoo was the most replied by 50.3%, showing a statistically valid difference by marital status, education, occupation and average monthly income (p<.05). As to whether or not to care scalp and hair-losing that is part of items regarding actions for scalp and losing hair care, do care was the most replied by 47.5%, showing a statistically valid difference by marital status, education, occupation, average monthly income, smoking, and average sleeping hours per day (p<.05). In addition, except 25 men who do not make head skin care usually, 158 men replied the most for professional care by 31.0%, showing a statistically valid difference by education, occupation, average monthly income, smoking, and average sleeping hours per day (p<.05). As for the average number of professional scalp and losing hair cares, once a month was replied the most by 37.3%, showing a statistically valid difference by education, occupation, average monthly income, and drinking (p<.05). As for the monthly expenditure for scalp care, `below 30,000 Won` was replied the most by 36.7%, showing a statistically valid difference by education, occupation, drinking, and average sleeping hours per day (p<.05). As for the effect to make scalp problem and hair losing better by scalp, so-so was replied the most by 50.0%, showing a statistically valid difference by education, occupation, average monthly income, and smoking (p<.05). As to whether or not to take or use medicines for scalp care, `had taken or applied` was replied the most by 71.5%, showing a statistically valid difference by age, education and occupation (p<.01). As to whether or not to put a wig on, do not use was replied the most by 89.6%, showing no statistically valid difference (p>.05).
