Abstract
The purpose of this study was to understand the relationship between Aesthetician`s, attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavior control and intention as well as the use of preventive exercise of musculoskeletal diseases using theory of planned behavior. This study was surveyed 300 aesthetician to answer to self-reported questions using a questionnaire from April 5 to May 10 2013 and used 281 copies of the responses except insincere ones for the final analysis. The analysis results were as follows: Of total the subjects, 97.5% responded that they felt the pain due to the musculoskeletal diseases, and 86.5% responded that they were diagnosed as having them. As a result of logistic regression analysis, it was discovered that as they had more attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control and intention and that they gave skin care to less than five customers a day, a more significant relationship with exercise was found. Therefore, it is suggested that for exercise to prevent musculoskeletal diseases, educational programs to enhance attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control ability and intent are needed.
