| Abstract |
|
In this study, college students in Daejeon were surveyed. The students consisted of 59 people majoring in hair design, 37 people majoring in skin care and 43 people majoring in make up at the same college. The total data from 139 students was analyzed to evaluate how the different streams (skin care, haire, make up) affects future career development and the relationship between the satisfaction with their program and their job prospects after graduation. SPSS(ver.12.0) was used to analyze the data. Frequency Analysis Cronbach `a, Principle Component Aalysis, t-test, One way Anova and Regression Analysis were used to obtain our findings. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. Looking at the major satisfaction in accordance with the general characteristics, there were significant differences between the major and the school performances. 2. The major satisfaction has little impact to the career decision making, P<.0.001. And also major satisfaction is not affected by relationship satisfaction, educational environment satisfaction, educational satisfaction. There are several conclusions that can be drawn from the results of this study. It is necessary to reorganize the curriculum for the students who have completed the training before entering the program of the college. A career counselling program should be developed more systematically and also students should provided with a variety of information concerning specific career option. |
