| Abstract |
|
The purpose of this study is that Jawoongo oil contained with natural cosmetics formula effect to facial skin irritability improvement caused by cream blend stick. 8 people for control group (not containing Jawoongo oil) and 8 people for an experimental group (containing 20 g of Jawoongo oil) were participated in this study from August 19, 2014 to October 19, 2014. Before applying cream blend stick, both control group and experimental group were required to apply natural cosmetics formula to their faces made for each group, then the skin condition were measured after 3 hours of applying cream blend stick and washing faces. The result were compared and analyzed. As a result, the control group showed statistically significant difference of 53% decrease (p<.001) and the experimental group a statistically significant difference of 34% decrease (p<.05) in sebum index. The result showed statistically significant differences in moisture index as control group tended to increase 3% and experimental group increased 16% (p<.001). Both groups showed statistically significant differences in melanin index as control group tended to decrease 1%, and experimental group 8% decrease (p<.001). In erythema index, the control group showed a statistically significant difference of 7% increase (p<.01) while experimental group a statistically significant difference of 8% decrease (p<.001). Related to skin tone change, control group showed a statistically significance difference of 1% increase (p<.05), and the experimental group tended to increase 2% in hue. in chroma, control group showed a statistically significant differnece of 4% increase (p<.05), the experimental group a significant difference of 3% increase (p<.05). In value, the result showed a statistically significant difference as control group tended to increase 1%, and the experimental group increase 6% (p<.05). Control group tended to increase 3%, while the experimental group tended to increase 13% for the number of blackhead. As a result, the properties like antioxidant, etc. of Jawoongo oil seemed to relieve facial skin irritability caused by cream blend stick. Therefore, it would be suitable to use as the base cosmetics before applying cream blend stick. |
