| Thr Effects of Rubus Coreanus Miquel and Hovenia Dulcis Thunb Extract Intake on Reduction of Fatigue caused by Meridian Massage |

| Abstract |
|
In this study, effects of Rubus coreanus Miquel and Hovenia dulcis thunb Extract Intake on the concentration of fatigue substances and antioxidant enzymes in the blood as well as the degree of fatigue after merdian massage. It was a prospective randomized controlled trial study that was conducted on 24 women, between 20 to 50 years old and they were divided into three groups Cont(control)=8, ExpA(Rubus coreanus Miquel extract)=8, ExpB(Hovenia dulcis thunb extract). After each subject were received 2hours of meridian massage, they were analyzed by blood. it was showed that fatigue. Lactic acid was shown a significant decrease of 32.5% in ExpA, 28.6% in ExpB(only experimental group). Cortisol level showed a significant decrease of 32.5% ExpA, 28.6% in ExpB. BAP showed a significant increase in Cont of 11.5%, ExpA of 20.8% and ExpB of 23.1%. d-ROMs showed a significant decrease in Cont of 5.27%, ExpA of 9.9%, ExpB of 10.6%. The experimental groups showed reduction in the degree of fatigue than compared to that of the control group. Also a significant reduction of lactic acid fatigue substance and antistress hormone cortisol occurred. Antioxidant-related factors BAP increased significantly while d-ROMs decreased significantly. From this, Rubus coreanus Miquel, Hovenia dulcis thunb extract seems to have positive effect on reducing the fatigue level after getting Meridian massage. |
