|
This study was to investigate the possibility of the use of the extract of Coreopsis lanceolata L. on the anti-oxidant, keratinocyte protective, and anti-inflammatory activities as a safer and healthier cosmetic material. The total phenolic content of the extract of C. lanceolata increased in the concentration-dependent manners. it also has the antioxidant activities including DPPH radical scavenging activity, ABTS scavenging activity and SOD-like scavenging activity were similar to those of the positive control group. The protective effect of the extract of C. lanceolata on the human keratinocyte HaCaT showed that H2O2-induced cell damage was significantly inhibited.
