A Study on Operation of College Curriculums linked with CBQ (Course Based Qualification : Hair Design)
Hee-young Jeong
Abstract
This study examined awareness and satisfaction on curriculums among students who completed curriculums linked with CBQ(Course Based Qualification : Hair Design) and analyzed composition standards of education for those curriculums from 2016 to 2019, and then suggested the subject composition draft. By doing so, it aimed to provide basic data for vocational colleges to operate curriculums linked with CBQ. The findings were as below. Those who completed curriculums linked with CBQ participated in this Curriculum with a view to acquiring licenses and cultivating working competence, and thought that the involved curriculums were helpful to foster excellent human resources in the field of hair dressing. Along the way, they believed that this Curriculum had high linkage with actual jobs and were fully aware of the necessity of CBQ type licenses and their satisfaction on the Curriculum was high. These findings imply that more positive consideration to operate curriculums linked with CBQ may be needed so that college students could get licenses by completing regular curriculums without investing additional expense and time, and as a result become confident of their major.
