Abstract |
This study discovered the most effective wave formation and minimum hair damage at an intermediate treatment of 5% tartaric acid solution. For analysis, hair was divided into two groups: an experimental group (hair wound and intermediately treated with 5% tartaric acid solution), and a control group (hair treated with distilled water in the same amount). In terms of wave formation after perming, the experimental group was found to be 4.8% greater than the control group. In terms of hair length after hair was shampooed 30 times, the experimental group was shorter than the control group by 5.6%. In other words, the former showed better wave formation and persistence. In terms of tensile strength, the experimental group (6.678 |
