The Effect of Hairdresser's Occupational Awareness on Job Satisfaction |

Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for enhancing management efficiency through training and human management by analyzing the impact of job recognition by hair beauty workers on job satisfaction. The results of the study are as follows. Job recognition factors for hairdressing workers were classified into three factors: pride, belonging and responsibility, while job satisfaction was classified into four factors: satisfaction with human relationships, job contents satisfaction, economic satisfaction and satisfaction with working conditions. Analysis of differences in job satisfaction according to the general characteristics of hairdressing workers showed no significant difference in job satisfaction due to age, educational background and whether or not they majored in beauty. There were significant differences in job satisfaction depending on the work experience, position, income, and area of work. An analysis of the impact of occupational awareness on job satisfaction showed that occupational awareness has a significant impact on job satisfaction. In particular, it was analyzed that the sense of belonging affected both human relations satisfaction, job satisfaction, economic satisfaction, and work environment satisfaction. Therefore, beauty companies need various efforts to improve their membership. |
