| Abstract |
|
This study aims to examine the habitual factors associated with lifestyles that affect skin wrinkles for women in their thirties and older, for whom the aging process tends to accelerate. The subjects for the study were 50 women between the ages of 35 and 45, and their skin wrinkles were evaluated based on a visual examination tool to analyze the elements that potentially affect the creation and prevention of wrinkles. Study results revealed that in terms of skin care habits, there were statistically significant negative correlations between the SWI and the following factors: frequency and payments, place, and purpose in skin care habits factors. As for the pattern of using sunscreen, there were statistically significant negative correlations among the duration of using sunscreen, the method of using sunscreen, the sunscreen index, the prices of sunscreen, leisure activities and the quality of sleep, indicating that they have positive effects on preventing wrinkles. On the other hand, the level of mental fatigue and the number of times & amount of drinking had statistically significant positive correlations, meaning that they have negative effects on wrinkles. Deterministic factors that affect creation of wrinkles included whether skin care was administered, the duration of skin care practices, the duration of using sunscreen, the amount of sleep, and the number of times & amount of drinking. Examining the study results, it was learned that consistent and professional skin care and usage of sunscreen substantially contribute towards prevention of wrinkles, and the amount and quality of sleep also play important roles. Furthermore, the stress level and the number of times & amount of drinking. also affected the wrinkle creation process. |
