A Study on the Simulation of the Media Nail Art Design

Abstract
Simulation, Baudrillard claims, is the current stage of the simulacrum: all is composed of references with no referents, a hyperreality. This study is focused on the Media stimuli destruct the existing space-time structure and create the copied images not based on reality. Nail art design showing this simulation phenomenon is diversely expressed due to experimental creativity, individuality, and exaggerated and dramatic direction. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to find out the correlations between the nail art design and the simulation theory. For the method of the study the case study was used, Naomi Yasuda, Fleury Rose and Sophie Harris Greenslade from 2012 to 2016 were selected as the range of the study. Nail art design was representative nail art design and non-representative nail art design. Simulation of nail art design had property of imitative nature, appropriation and realism. Also, Media nail art design had property of symbolism. extendability, distortion, deformation. These properties were closely related to the properties of simulation, the representative phenomenon in the modern society. So, it plays an important role in the total fashion the era include nail art design as the man who consistently pursues newness and beauty brings other images into fashion. This study was meaningful a framework to analyze aesthetics ideal of nail art design in beauty.
