This study researched the extracts of Rhus chinensis Mill were cut into small pieces of ethanol and concentrated. The organic solvent fractions were used to identify antimicrobacterial and antioxidant activities. And investigated the feasibility of using it as a natural cosmetic material. antimicrobacterial activity, antioxidative activity and functional cosmetics of P. acnes were analyzed using the following results. As a result of the antimicrobacterial activity measurement, the ethanol extract of Rhus chinensis Mill showed antimicrobacterial activity against P. acnes. The antimicrobacterial activity of P. acnes was found to be 10 mm at 0.5 mg / ml, 12 mm at 2.5 mg / ml, 16 mm at 5 mg / ml and 20 mm at 10 mg / ml. Antioxidant activity of DPPH free radical scavenging activity was 86.4% at the maximum concentration of 2.5 mg / ml. ABTS free radical scavenging ability showed 79.2% scavenging activity at the highest concentration of 1 mg / ml and showed high antioxidant activity. In addition, an acne lotion was prepared using ethanol extract of Rhus chinensis Mill. The results of the photographs of the improvement effect were found to be effective before the experiment and at the 2nd and 4th weeks after the experiment. In conclusion, antimicrobacterial activity, antioxidant activity, and lotion preparation showed skin improvement effect and suggested that it could be used as an acne functional cosmetic product.
