Research Papaer : A Study of the Attractive Face in Korean Female Through the Phases of the Times & Aethetic Plastic Beautiful Physiognomy of the Present-Day

Abstract
Through the phases of the times, a standard of beauty has been undergo change. This study planed to compare and analyze a standard of beauty from the ancient to present-day. The author studied a standard of beauty via first, document analysis the facial features of the tumulus mural paintings of Koguryo, second, beautiful physiognomy of figure paintings analysis at the era of Chosun, third, document analysis of beautiful physiognomy of the present-day quoted from the report as anthropometric analysis of the attractive and normal faces in korean female. The results as follows. First, the facial features of the Tumulus Mural of Koguryo was round & plump face with white skin tone, horizontally long & slender eye, round & bulbous nose, small & red colored lip. Second, beautiful physiognomy of representative figure paintings shown at the era of Chosun was round & smooth face, white skin tone, wide & rigid forehead, cresent moon-like eyebrow, horizontally long, slightly slender but attractive eye. Third, beautiful physiognomy of the present-day is somewhat long, hen`s egg figuring face, horizontally long, wide palpebral fissure with double eyelid, Korean socks figuring lofty nose, wide & plump lip. These results aimes to develop morden ours beauty, to systematize a subjective standard of beauty.
