IPA Study on the Participation Attributes of Extracurricular Activities Program of Beauty Major Students |

Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the IPA of participation attributes according to the degree of satisfaction(unsatisfaction/satisfaction) of the extracurricular activities program in which beauty major students participated and to identify the difference in importance and performance according to the operation status. The study examined the importance and performance(satisfaction) level of the comparison and program for 151 beauty major students. As a result of the study, independent sample T-test was conducted to analyze the difference in importance and performance(satisfaction) of participation attributes of the program and comparison according to satisfaction level(unsatisfaction/satisfaction) of beauty students. As a result, there was a significant difference in all 15 items. In addition, the analysis of IPA analysis of the attributes of participation in the extracurricular activities program according to the satisfaction level(unsatisfaction/satisfaction) of beauty students showed that the items that were in the lower rank of both dissatisfied students and satisfied students were analyzed as the items that were related to the improvement of friendship, character enhancement, hobby/leisure activities, self-esteem, 4-year and graduate school entrance, and the items that were related to the maintenance of both unsatisfied students and satisfied students. The results were analyzed as academic promotion, certification, mileage(supervision), self-development, and strengthening of employment capacity. This study is to investigate the needs of beauty major students on the actuality of extracurricular activities program that connects classes and extra-class activities. Based on this, this study will provide a useful basis for the future research. It is meaningful to provide basic data on development, operation and performance for program implementation. |
