Abstract
This research intended to give treatment prediction of layer results when hair designer proposes design by examining the flow of increase layer among hair cut styles created by hair designer`s hand maneuvering. To examine the increase layer flow by guide lines, the research placed the guide lines each at the face, head front, head top and head crown and experimented by using the fixed guide lines, and to limit the effects of tools of techniques, only blunt techniques using scissors were used. The research results have shown that when guide line is placed on the face, layer demonstrated strong diagonal back flow and nape length was shortest among other lengths. All in all, the layer that showed a sense of motion with light layer was when the guide line was laid at the top. Such results will be able to be used to propose layer depending on the face type and head shape and give treatment. Also, the type that wraps face the most was when guide line was placed on head crown and the design that exposed face the most was the increase layer type in which guide line is placed on the face. According to the above conclusion, increase layer flow is directly affected by guide line location, and depending on the layer flow, design can be done in various methods to meet customer demand, face shape and body requirements.
