| Abstract |
|
To investigate effect of proliferation and differentiation in normal human keratinocytes by sandalwood and rose absolute oils, we made recombinant adenovirus; expressing luciferase-tagged involucrin promoter. After adenoviral transduction into normal human keratinocytes cultured in vitro, performed luciferase assay to effect of sandalwood and rose absolute oils for keratinocyte differentiation. As a results, involucrin promoter activity was increased by rose absolute oil but, sandalwood did not. Also, involucrin expression was increased rose absolute oil. Together, our results implicate the potential of sandalwood and rose absolute oil for keratinocyte differentiation promoting drug. |
