Research Paper : A Study on the Survival Time of Demodex Folliculorum

Abstract
Falling hair proceeded by various factors such as inherited, excess secretion of a masculine hormone, excessive stress, influence imbalance, all kinds of environmental pollution, aging etc. By the way, it is recently Demodex Folliculorum is known by another causes. D. Folliculorum resolves a lipid component of sebum and hair root for secreting lipase. Damage it on a hair root for using this to nutritive substance. Also affect it to falling hair because of the secretion of D. Folliculorum and the dead meats as cause an inflammation. Therefore, use various chemical compounds a parasitic degree is falling hair than slant certain persons, and to be able to kill effectively D. Folliculorum with bases in present situation investigation regarding a lot of parasitic state of D. Folliculorum, and It will find out in this study by survival time of D. Folliculorum The solutions for experiments selected 10% Pobidone iodine, Alcohol, Shampoo, Tea tree oil with sterilizing power that used in the preceding study and Garlic, Gardenia, Pulsatilla koreana, Aroma oils of Roseumary, Lavender with sterilizing power in literature consideration. The survival times of were in the following order for the solutions applied -30`1`` for Garlic, 27`1`` for Tea trees, 15`7`` for Alcohol, and 14`5`` for Pulsatilla koreana. It turned out that 10% Poividone Iodine killed 8 out of 14 D. Folliculorum within 150 minutes, while no shampoos succeeded in killing a D. Folliculorum.
