|
With the recent generalization and diversification of men`s appearance management, this study intended to find out the body satisfaction rate according to sexuality type, and the results are as follows. First, the factor analysis of sexuality is divided into four factors of ubersexual, metro sexual, retro sexual, and cross sexual. The factor analysis of body satisfaction rate are divided into two factors of body type satisfaction rate and face satisfaction rate. Second, the average of sexuality was the highest in retro sexual, followed by cross, metro and uber sexual in order, and for body satisfaction rate, face satisfaction rate appeared higher than body type satisfaction rate. Third, the results of researching about the correlation between sexuality and body satisfaction rate showed that retro sexual was the only one showing correlation with the body satisfaction rate. Body type satisfaction rate and face satisfaction rate, which are the sub factors of body satisfaction rate, showed defined correlation. Forth, the results of researching about the effect sexuality preference type has on body satisfaction rate showed that retro, metro, uber sexual affected body satisfaction rate in order. Higher retro sexual and uber sexual preference indicated higher body satisfaction rate, and lowed metro sexual preference indicated higher body satisfaction rate. The results of researching the effect of sexuality on face satisfaction rate showed that only retro sexual affected; higher retro sexual preference indicated higher face satisfaction rate. In analyzing sexuality type, this study did a random sampling of men in 20s and 30s, however, considered that researching in equal dispersion or expanding the sample to 40s would show a more precise result of each age groups`preference, and so made this the prefatory point of the study. |
