| Abstract |
|
This study was designed to examine the antioxidant, whitening and antimicrobial effects of 35 species essential oils. Antioxidative ability was evaluated by bioassay using total polyphenol contents, 2,2`-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) (ABTS) and 2, 2- diphenyl-1-1-picrydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging activity.
