Research Paper : Suggested Measures to Improve Operation of Curriculaof Beauty Specialized High School Teachers

Abstract
This paper is aimed at investigating beauty specialized high school teachers` awareness of actual planning and operation of curricula, improving and refining education of secondary educational institutions. For this aim, questionnaires were distributed to teachers in charge of beauty education at beauty specialized high schools across the country and the collected data were analyzed by using SPSS WIN 20.0.Independent t-test and one way ANOVA were performed to find out the difference in awareness of actual planning and operation of curricula depending on the general characteristics of teachers in charge of beauty education. To examine the improvement and refine education of secondary educational institutions the effects of awareness of actual planning, frequency analyses were conducted, which led to the following conclusion: There there was significant difference in them depending on the form of establishment of school, number of classes and the region the school is located in. It seems necessary to take measures to improve curricula by filling shortage of professional instructors, uniform way of teaching theory and practice and unrealistic teaching system. The outcomes of the study could be summed up as follows: First, it is requested to secure as many professional beauty teachers as possible who are equipped with theory and practice and to develop such teaching and learning methods as can draw interest and concern of students, making them outgrow the conventional lop-sided lecture-oriented teaching method and by thus transmitting to students fundamental as well as professional knowledge and technology. Second, major subjects should be planned and operated in a specialized and itemized way, with a focus onplanning such subjects as education for personality and voluntary service, foreign language and career counselling that can improve personal qualities of students.
