Research Papaer : Adolescent`s TV Viewing and Preference for Entertainer`s Image

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to research the relationship between the young`s(adolescent`s) behavior to follow the motion and action through TV programs and the young`s preference style for each entertainer`s occupation. This study was analyzed and determined by the questionaries for 704 young interviewees who live in ChungBuk area as a middle, or high school student. The questionaries is made up of the question to review the young`s acquaintance for the entertainer`s things and for the effectiveness of TV media and things attracted. For the assurance and trust for this question, it was confirmed by the negotiation of both the expert and the pre-survey. The analyzing methods are SPSS VER.12.0. to find out the frequency and statistics. And X2-test has been done to research the relationship between the group. Additionally the cross analysis, t-test, and ANOVA analysis(Consequence Verification, LSD) were applied for this study. The result of this study has been determined as follows; 1. A boy more than a girl, and the middle school student more than the high school has high attention for TV programs. 2. The favorable entertainer`s occupation is different by their gender and their trial to communicate with their favorite entertainers are different as well. 3. The attitude for the entertainer is quite similar with the preference and attention as per their gender and grades. 4. It is quite different for the favorable image per each entertainer`s occupation. For the aspect to their favorable image, it can be differed by their gender such like the young girl love the sharp one and the boy love the one who has an open-mind with a characteristic charisma. The boy has an interest in the shape and appearance of the entertainers`, but the girl can be appealed by a voice tone, pose of them.
