| Abstract |
|
The representation of decoration reflects the aesthetic consciousness in the period and the psychological characteristics in a human being. This is a study of considering about which effects the aesthetic characteristics in the Rococo Style of standing for the decorative art, had on modern hair style. Accordingly, it examined a concept of decorative aesthetics and the human behavior according to it, and considered about how these features gave effect to modern hair style, after grasping characteristics of decorative aesthetics in the Rococo Style. As the above results, the aesthetic characteristics in the Rococo Style were indicated to be enjoyable, organic, and exotic representation. The trend, which expressed the enjoyable aesthetics in modern fashion, was indicated to be post-modernism that introduced the excessive decoration & volume and the heterogeneous element. The trend, which emphasized the organic aesthetics, was indicated to be Art Nouveau that showed strong symbolism or expressed dissymmetry by using a flexible line. Also, it was indicated to be ethnic that expressed exotic taste with a compromise between other culture, which emphasized exotic aesthetics, and native culture. |
