General Characteristics of Korean Hair and Western Hair

Abstract
This study compared and analyzed the hair characteristics of Koreans and Western people and deducted the following results. Korean hair was 12% more thicker than Western hair, but through an indirect measurement of density using the MB dyeing method, the density was 10.5% lower and 23.6% stronger in tension than Western hair. When examining through an optical microscopic, the surface of the hair were all smooth without any impurities and when examining FE-SEM and TEM, Korean hair had 5 cuticle layers with a diameter of 92
